Insulated Coolroom & Freezer Doors
A coolroom is only as good as its doors. We supply, install and retrofit insulated doors for coolrooms and freezers, including hinged, sliding and strip curtains with the seals and hardware to keep cold air in and energy costs down. New build or replacement, we’ll match the door to your traffic and opening.

What we build
We supply, install and retrofit the full range of cold-storage doors:
- Hinged coolroom doors for smaller, lower-traffic openings
- Sliding freezer doors for wide openings or tight aisles
- Strip curtains to take the edge off frequent-access points
- Hardware hinges, latches, closers, heaters and seals
- Retrofit and replacement into existing rooms
Specifications
We size and spec every door to the room and the way it’s used:
- Door leaves coolroom- or freezer-rated to match the room
- Heated frames and seals where freezer temperatures would otherwise ice them up
- Sizing to your largest trolley or pallet and the real clear opening, not just the nominal room size
- Hardware rated for daily commercial traffic
- Air-loss control strip curtains
- Retrofit check a full assessment of existing seals, hinges, tracks and threshold

Industries we serve
We fit doors for food processors, horticulture packhouses, dairy operations, meat and seafood rooms and cold-chain logistics sites across Canterbury and the South Island, on both new builds and existing rooms.
Recent project
Insulated chiller doors, Ettrick. We built and supplied a set of insulated doors for a fruit-industry customer in Central Otago and freighted them south for the customer to fit into a chiller built by others, a good example of supplying doors as a standalone product, not just as part of a full build.
